On Armed Forces Day, celebrated on the third Saturday in May of every year, The Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District recognizes Veterans under the following criteria: who have served their country and have been Honorably Discharged with a copy of their DD214 Form (DD214 Form may be waived as a requirement for WWII Veterans), have resided within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Park District, are deceased and have substantially contributed to serving the community.
