Scholarship Program
The Jurupa Area Recreation & Park District offers a limited number of scholarships. Scholarships are available on a first come, first serve basis.
READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE CONTINUING:
*Filing of an application does not guarantee scholarship award or approval nor does it reserve spaces within a program, class, activity or event.
*You are soley responsible to register for the program, early registration of programs is not permitted.
*You are responsible for payment of registration fees in excess of the amount awarded to be enrolled. Scholarship's do not cover material fees.
*FIRST 5 RIVERSIDE scholarships are only available for swim lessons for those 5 and under and reside in Riverside County.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Your information will not be shared. The application and eligibility paperwork are reviewed by JARPD Administrative staff only.

Does the scholarship cover 100% of the cost?
This will vary from application to application based on income/public assistance parameters, scholarship restrictions and available funding.
What if I don't use the scholarship funds? Can I use them for another program?
No, funds are eligible only for that program and for the specific dates inputted on your application. If the funds are not used the funds will expire.
What documents are required?
- Proof of residency ( IE: utility bill, drivers license, etc)
- Proof of income or public assistance (W-2, Most current Tax Form showing adjusted income, WIC letter, CAL-FRESH, Free or reduced school lunch form, etc) *Please keep in mind MEDI-CAL does not qualify as public assistance*
- Proof of age (Birth Certificate, passport, baptismal record)
When are applications accepted?
Applications are accepted year-round as funds are available.
